Balmain in Your Own Backyard

so here’s my attempt at the balmain-esque pumps, as profiled on refinery 29…they also double as the footwear equivalent of spiked nunchuks, so the sketchy parking garage death-trap dash is suddenly akin to a sunday stroll in the park…

shoes:

• per shoe, i used (x4 large tree spikes), (x5 medium tree spikes), (x6 small tree spikes). studsandspikes.com

• i punched the hole using my crop-a-dile eyelet setter/ hole puncher. (http://weronthenet.com/productsx/products/products.aspx?page=newcropadile.htm)

• i punched (x3) rows of holes, spaced (1/2″) apart. (x6) holes on Row #1, (x5) holes on row #2, (x3) holes on row #3 (closest to toes).

• the tree spikes are easy to affix, as they are a male/ female screw-set, which can be easily applied with hands. Courtesy of bleachblack --
