Marc Jacobs Sets Wedding Date
As Marc Jacobs gears up for sponsor duties on Monday's Costume Institute Gala, he's got another big event on his mind: his wedding. He got engaged to fiance Lorenzo Martone last month, and the two are already planning what is sure to be a big bash in Provincetown, Massachusetts, according to Martone — one of their favorite vacation spots. "Yes, [the wedding is happening] in the summer — in June, even before summer! And then [we'll have] a party in December in St. Barths." Just last week, Lorenzo revealed that he was the one who proposed, and he bought their pink-gold triple band rings at Boucheron, Marc's favorite jeweler, in Paris during Fashion Week. “I was in Paris for Fashion Week for the Vuitton show, so I had a little planning beforehand to do that." He brought them back to New York, where he surprised Marc with them during dinner at the Mercer Hotel.
But it's not all about the wedding just yet; Jacobs fleshed out his Costume Insitute Gala guest list further — we've already heard co-host Kate Moss and Kerry Washington, and last night he added: "Madonna . . . Victoria Beckham . . . I'm trying to think, now I can't remember! Anne Hathaway . . . Winona [Ryder] . . . Rachel Feinstein, John Currin . . . and Rihanna!"

Williamson arrives @ H & M
Matthew Williamson's H&M line launches today. So pretty much you should have been in line yesterday. Remember, the merchandise rolls out in a second shipment on May 14 for women so even if you can't get a peacock dress this time around, you'll have another shot in a few weeks. Williamson tells the Times that the line came about thanks to past H&M collaborator Madonna, who, excluding her attempted adoption of Mercy from Malawi, has the power to bring people together. She invited Matthew to one of her first-ever Kabbalah parties in London, where he met Margareta van den Bosch from H&M, who later signed him on to do a line. Now, a lot of fashion people and celebrities act like they're too cool for the mainstream while striving to be famous enough to be part of it (ahem, Lady Gaga), but not Williamson. “I never thought commercial was a dirty word,” he says. “I've never not wanted to dress a celebrity on the grounds that they were too mainstream." i got some lovely letters, e-mails, (whatever you wanna call them)messages- from people who read this thing. girls and boys who are heartbroken and sad about boy related bullshit! these people have jobs and responsibilities, and i'm hoping NO children cuz i really don't think this blog reaches that demographic, but maybe the young hip moms-whatever! my point is, it's time to get serious! DEAD SERIOUS MOTHERFUCKERS!

what i DID do while bummed, that i'm now regretting, is pick at my face. but neosporin MIGHT take care of that by tomorrow morning! cross your fingers/light a candle. what i DON'T regret is the thai food i ordered (tonight the delivery guy wore a blue and orange-BOLD-striped shirt,dark denim, and a hat. maybe it's his clear skin and bright eyes that impresses me so much!), the epsom salt bath i took, the facial mask i applied, the fact that i started reading a book, watched real housewives of nyc, looked for eames furniture on craigs list, contemplated buying tracey andersons workout dvds on amazon.com. THAT'S RIGHT FATTY'S! summertime is kinda almost nearly here maybe! and we gotta look GOOD!
but more importantly, we can't stray and be miserable lumps while devastated and heartbroken. we have to forge on or whatevs. i went to target and bought a jump rope, some super tight black sports bras, black undies (high waisted like the ladies who scrub you at olympic spa), and a bowler hat - like sienna miller circa 2006 styles! I DON'T GIVE A FUCK!

Babette hits tmw
To say Elaine Kim's Babette was a huge hit at our shoot, would be an understatement. Guys pulled over, took pics, got out of their cars, some came out from a bar across the street and literally hung out in the middle of the street, stopping traffic. The dress is hot and it, along with the rest of Elaine Kim's line arrives tmw.
